The Campus

Arihant School of Pharmacy & Bio-Research Institute is about 20 kms from Ahmedabad city and 10 kms from Gandhinagar on the Sarkhej – Gandhinagar Highway. A sprawling campus in picturesque surroundings provides a refreshing environment, stimulating intellectual alertness and creativity. The campus provides an ambience that motivates students to grow.

The Class Room

The classrooms are spacious, ventilated and equipped with multimedia and audiovisual equipments to facilitate effective learning. The classrooms are designed to provide maximum interaction between the faculty and students.

Computer Centre

Computer facilities for students include a laboratory equipped with 30 computers connected through Local Area Network. The network also connects the faculty and staff for information sharing and communication. The students have access to the internet. The faculties are also provided computer facilities with internet facility.

Laboratories

Fully developed laboratories help to teach the undergraduate students and faculty members, to undertake sponsored research projects as well as to carry out their doctoral research work in the areas of dosage form design, stability studies, phytopharmaceuticals, pharmacognostic, pharmacological screening, synthetic and analytical chemistry and biopharmaceutics.

LIBRARY

Well-maintained and spacious library and reading room stocked with the latest reference books and textbooks on pharmacy subject are available for use to the pharmacy students. The college also subscribes 25 Indian and 7 International Journals and periodicals for keeping the students and faculty abreast with the latest developments in pharmaceutical field. The college also plans to provide internet facilities for the students and faculty members to assist them in projects and research work.

Animal House

Our Institute has animal house facility registered by CPCSEA, Government of India.  The animal house is well equipped with necessary equipments. It is envisaged to provide pre clinical testing in conformity with national regulatory guidelines (Schedule Y, GLP and OECD). The animal house facilitates the availability of healthy and homogeneous animals for undergraduate and research studies.

Play Ground

Playgrounds for Cricket, Volleyball, Football, and other games are available in the campus.

Transport Facility

The college provides transport facility to the students from Ahmedabad.

Medicinal Plant Garden :

A medicinal plants garden covering a total area of 2000 sq. meters has been developed at the campus. More than 1000 medicinal plants have been already planted in our garden. This developed medicinal plants garden provides a strong impetus for herbal drug research in the subject of Phyto-pharmaceuticals & Natural Products
