Medicinal Garden
 

         Medicinal plants have a significant role in human life and India has a rich diversity of medicinal plants. About 90% of herbs are used in the manufacturing of AYUSH medicines. The college has established a well-maintained Medicinal Plant Garden with an objective to maintain a conservatory of the most common and important species of medicinal and aromatic plants which are being used in day-to-day primary health care as well studied in syllabus.

Objectives of Medicinal Garden in College

 

          Some important medicinal plants in our medicinal garden are as Adhatoda vasica, Aegle marmelos, Andrographis paniculata, Cymbopogan citrus, Mimosa pudica, Ocimum sanctum, Phyllanthus embelica, Nerium indicum, Tinospora cordifolia, Vitex negundo, Eucalyptus globulus etc. Every year college is organized “Plantation Drive”  by students to encourage the plantation and save the environment.
